The 2021 Toyota C-HR 2.0L Hybrid is the first hybrid model year in the GAC Toyota C-HR line-up. It delivers 135 kW of combined output and 4.5 L/100 km on the NEDC cycle, with Toyota Safety Sense and full-speed adaptive cruise on every trim. The range topped out with the Prestige trim, which adds a 360° camera, eight parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and leather seats. It gives used-vehicle importers well-equipped hybrid stock at a lower entry cost than later years.
Three trims were sold: Comfort, Luxury and Prestige. Comfort uses an 8-inch screen with CarLife; Luxury and Prestige use a 9-inch screen with built-in navigation, 4G connectivity and voice control covering media, navigation, phone, air conditioning and sunroof.
Every 2021 hybrid has LED headlights, a power sunroof, keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control and a cabin air purifier. Luxury and Prestige trims can be found with a black-and-blue interior.
Note that the 2021 hybrid's built-in navigation and connected services were designed for China. Outside China, buyers usually rely on phone navigation; CarPlay was not listed for this model year, so confirm phone-mirroring needs with sales before ordering.
