The C-HR hybrid combines a 107 kW 2.0-litre engine with an 80 kW electric motor for 135 kW of combined output. It charges its own nickel-metal hydride battery while driving, so it needs no charging points — a practical way to cut fuel costs in markets where EV infrastructure is still thin. GAC Toyota built it for the China market from 2021 to 2023. All three model years have Toyota Safety Sense with full-speed adaptive cruise on every trim, which matters to taxi and ride-hailing operators who log long hours in traffic.
